A Unique Intersection Of Legal Talents

We are litigators representing individuals and businesses in civil cases at the trial and appellate levels. After graduating from Harvard Law School and Yale Law School, we worked together at Jones Day, the largest U.S. law firm, where we developed a passion for litigating tough cases. Then our paths diverged, and for nearly a decade we handled lawsuits involving different areas of the law for different types of clients. In the process, we each gained invaluable experience and a unique perspective. Now, we have joined forces to give our clients the benefit of our combined legal talents.

- Daniel N. Jabe -

Dan graduated first in his class at the University of Michigan in 1998, where he studied History and English Literature. He received his degree summa cum laude and was the recipient of the James A. Knight Scholarship in History award for his undergraduate thesis. Dan then attended Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy and a winner of the 46th Annual Williston Contracts Competition.

After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2001, Dan moved to Los Angeles to work with Jones Day, joining what The American Lawyer magazine dubbed the "nation's best litigation department." He spent more than a dozen years as a member of Jones Day's Business and Tort Litigation practice group, in Los Angeles and then in Columbus. He distinguished himself at Jones Day as a particularly skilled legal strategist in high-stakes cases.

Dan is a recipient of the "Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service by an Individual" given by the Columbus Bar Foundation and Columbus Bar Association. He has won two pro bono criminal appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, helping an indigent client correct an error in his sentencing (resulting in a sentence reduction of fourteen years) and a mentally ill client obtain a hearing he was wrongfully denied. He also serves as a Mediator with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
